Who & What is a Pinecricker?
Folks that hail from nearby Pinecreek township are known as Pinecrickers. The owner and chef Howard Wragg is a 4th generation Pinecricker. Growing up in a legacy of hard working people who love the land, Howard has a appreciation for wholesome unprocessed foods made from scratch with as little distance from farm to table as possible. Hand cut steaks and chops, homemade soups and sides, our own ground sausage and even homemade potato chips are just a few examples of our made from scratch specialties.
Cooking has been Chef Howards passion since the age of 16, he and his wife Kathy have owned the Pinecricker since 2002. In 2005 came the addition of a new kitchen and dining room and 2009 brought the additional banquet space that can hold 70 people for a sit down dinner or more for casual events.
Grandma Wragg is in charge of all the luscious desserts. She also grows a ton of fresh produce for the restaurant in the garden season.
A family business all the Wragg kids have worked at the Pinecricker, you may find son Collin working behind the bar many a weekend.
Whether dine in, carry out or catered to your event, the Pinecricker will serve a delicious wholesome meal at a reasonable price.
